MONDAYS JUST GOT A WHOLE LOT MORE INTERESTING

St. Charles, Illinois—May 13, 2010—Medallion Media Group Inc. is proud to announce the debut of their new weekly webisodes, Medallion Mondays.

Presented by Medallion Movies, a division of Medallion Media Group, the webisodes feature the Medallion Press staff as themselves and actor Josh “Ponceman” Perry as a new addition to the crew. Comprised of twenty episodes shot entirely on location in the Medallion Press office and with the expertise of Scott Allen Perry, Jonathan Wenstrup and Eric Curtis, Medallion Mondays offers a glimpse of the culture of Medallion Press while hilariously spinning off on the average workday. Special guest stars include such Medallion Press authors as legendary professional wrestler Joe “Animal” Laurinaitis (The Road Warriors: Danger, Death, and the Rush of Wrestling, March 2011, with Andrew William Wright), motivational expert Staci Boyer (Motiv8n’’ U, Dec. 2010, with Melissa Killian), the world’s preeminent mixed martial arts referee “Big” John McCarthy (Let’s Get It On, Sept. 2011, with Loretta Hunt), and Pan’s Labyrinth star Doug Jones (Mime Very Own Book, Dec. 2011, with Scott Allen Perry, Adam C. Mock, and photographer Eric Curtis).

The premier episode, “COISPORC,” introduces “Ponceman” as the new Chief Operating Intern/Senior President of Operations/Really Cool appointed by Medallion Media Group CEO Helen A Rosburg. Surprised by this appointment, Medallion Media Group President Adam Mock is none too thrilled, while the staff wonder if this new arrangement is just what the office has been missing.

The series is coproduced by Helen A Rosburg, Scott Allen Perry (writer/director of the hilarious documentary The Outdoorsmen: Blood, Sweat, & Beers, Fuel TV’s sketch comedy series Stupid Face, Web series Retarded Policeman, and tons o’ goodies on The Perry Brothers Abnormal Comedy YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/ponceman), and Jonathan Wenstrup (cinematographer whose works include the independent feature film Son of Morning starring Heather Graham and Danny Glover and TV documentary On the Road in America). Cowriters of Medallion Mondays include Josh “Ponceman” Perry, Scott Allen Perry, and Jonathan Wenstrup. Perry and Wenstrup also codirected the webisodes. Behind-the-scenes photography for Medallion Mondays is presented by Eric Curtis, photographer of Mime Very Own Book (Medallion Press, Dec. 2011) and creator of Fallen Superheroes (Medallion Press, Dec. 2012).

Medallion Mondays is one of the many new and exciting adventures Medallion Media has developed to remain innovative and relevant in the growing social media frenzy. “I’m excited to be working with the brilliant and talented Perry Brothers and Jonathan Wenstrup again,” said Medallion Media Group President Adam Mock. “Their experience as filmmakers and writers will bring a whole new spin to the real internal culture of Medallion Press and invite viewers to join in on the hilarity as we take a lighthearted and offbeat look at ourselves and the industry.” On a promotional level, each episode will feature a Medallion Press book showing innovation in light of the new digital publishing landscape.

Medallion Mondays can be seen every Monday starting in June of 2010 at http://www.youtube.com/user/MedallionMovies, www.MedallionPress.com, http://www.medallionMovies.com
