(PR NewsChannel) / December 8, 2011 / AURORA, Ill.
Medallion Media Group, Inc. is preparing for quite a busy month in addition to the usual holiday hustle and bustle. Trailing on the heels of the release of their young adults writing for young adults, or YA-YA, line, founder and executive editor Helen Rosburg announces her publishing company is moving their offices to Aurora.
Originally located in St. Charles, Rosburg and her team will be relocating to 100 South River Street in Aurora. While Medallion Media Group won’t officially call this new building home till December 19, Rosburg and the Medallion Media Group staff will be meeting there with Mayor Tom Weisner to welcome them to the neighborhood on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 5:45 p.m. CST.
Impressed with the hard work and dedication to the local community, Weisner will speak with Rosburg and the publishing company’s staff about their new home, what Aurora has to offer and how Medallion Media Group will be of benefit to their new neighbors.
One of Medallion Media Group’s new neighbors is Triple Threat Mentoring, a youth-targeted nonprofit that Rosburg supports. This organization aims to empower urban youth by helping them develop confidence, character and life skills. The programs offered include academics, athletics and arts for youth in the inner-Chicago area. Triple Threat Mentoring Executive Director Caleb Luper will also attend the event at the Medallion Media Group new office to meet with the mayor.
“Mayor Weisner has always been supportive of the goals and programs that Triple Threat Mentoring offers the youth in our community,” Rosburg says. “I’m so glad that we get to show him and the entire community what Medallion Media Group can do as well.”
