ARRC2013 (Brisbane, 1-3 March) will play host to the first Lady Jane’s Salon™ outside of the US, hosted by best-selling author Hope Tarr. The salon will be held on the Friday evening from 6.00 to 7.00 pm, prior to the welcome reception.
Modeled in spirit on the literary salons of the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, Lady Janes provides guest authors, patrons, industry professionals and members of the media the opportunity to meet, mingle, read aloud, and discuss great romance reads in a free-flowing forum.

Hope Tarr (our host for the evening) is the author of nearly twenty historical and contemporary romance novels, including Operation Cinderella (October 2012), the launch of her ‘Suddenly Cinderella’ series for Entangled Publishing. Hope has a Master’s degree in Psychology and a PhD in Education. After a four-year stint as a federal government research consultant, and several years as a freelance writer, Hope purchased Kathryn Falk’s small, pink paperback entitled How to Write a Romance and Get It Published, joined the Romance Writers of America, and never looked back. Hope’s debut novel, A Rogue’s Pleasure, was nominated for a Romantic Times Book Reviewers Award for Best First Historical.
