For the past five years, novelist and journalist Daphne Nikolopoulos has been researching cultures and their impact on the evolution of religion and spirituality for her archeological thrillers and historical fiction. This lecture will examine two parts of the world: Ethiopia – the first African nation to embrace Christianity – and Israel. During the Ethiopian portion, she will discuss fascinating finds at the former kingdom of Aksum and Lalibela, two of Ethiopia’s holiest cities. Moving on to Israel, she will cover biblical archeology relating to the United Monarchy, including the controversy behind reconstructing the legendary reign of King Solomon.

The lecture will be followed by a book signing.
