Abbott Raised in the mysterious Catskill Mountains
of New York state, amid stories of the Headless Horseman
and Rip Van Winkle, TL Abbott always dreamed of writing
a thriller novel filled with the suspense and cliffhanging
scenes of those tales and other childhood series favorites,
such as The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew mysteries. Later
in TL’s life these dreams flourished and expanded
under the influence of authors like Sydney Sheldon, David
Baldacci, and James Patterson. Abbott’s debut thriller,
Hell Bent, is the culmination of those dreams.
TL is an
avid animal lover and would have a house filled with dogs
of all breeds
if space allowed. Unfortunately, that’s
not possible and, instead, Abbott settles for the companionship
of two very large dogs who fill the days with love and laughter.
Now a resident of Florida, Abbott belongs to several thriller
writers’ organizations and, when not coming up with
the next sinister plot for readers to enjoy, does speaking
engagements.
