Kelly Edwards is not just another designing diva. This former teen beauty queen is also a do-it-yourself darling with passion for all things self-created. Thanks to her amazing ability to turn a simple space into an innovative interior with only a $1,000 budget, Kelly Edwards has been deemed over the airwaves as the “MacGyver of Design.”

The Style Network and HGTV star offers dwellers with decorating dilemmas distinctive design tips, bargain-decorating projects, and total home makeover transformations inspired by personal style and popular trends. Kelly is well-known for her knack at repurposing everyday items into extraordinary collectibles, refurbishing unique home accessories, and crafting recipes for creative cleaning solutions.

No stranger to television, Kelly cohosted one of HGTV’s most popular shows, Design on a Dime, and recently teamed up with celebrity interior designer Thom Filica to cohost Style Network’s hot design show My Awesome Room, and became a segment host and design expert on AOL Living. In addition, Kelly has appeared on ABC’s Holiday of Stars, where she designed former The Bachelor star and football analyst Jesse Palmer’s bachelor pad for the holidays.

Appearing regularly in national design and decorating magazines, such as Cosmopolitan, Life & Style, and Good Housekeeping, Kelly is also a national spokesperson for Waterpik shower heads, and has been seen in several infomercials for Oreck vacuum cleaners and Cricut. When she’s not filming, she travels to speak on design both at home shows and on news stations nationwide, carrying the idea that anyone can design their own home. Kelly speaks to hundreds of homeowners, encouraging them to pick up the power tools and do it themselves. As a self-taught decorator, Kelly believes everyone can master their own personal design one nail at a time. She thinks just having the right recipe may be all they need.
