Debi Tibbles was born and raised in England and relocated to the United States in 1997. She enjoyed being a stay-at-home mum of three and working part-time in the fitness industry, but her life changed dramatically when her youngest, Ollie, was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
The story, which she shares in Ollie Tibbles: The Boy Who Became a Train, demonstrates the power of a child's love and legacy. Today Debi shares this message as a motivational speaker for Children’s Memorial Hospital, Chicago, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois and also via the airwaves, most recently with John St. Augustine on Oprah Radio and Martha Stewart Living Radio. With a candid approach, Debi empowers others to overcome challenges and live at their fullest potential.
Debi is writing her second book and was recently invited to join the Joy of Mom team, part of the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), to share her experiences with other inspiring moms.
Debi resides in Chicago with her partner, Jennifer, and enjoys spending time with her family, teaching group fitness, and hiking. She also loves Facebook and can often be found there flirting with mankind.Blogspot
