“Are you back, Angelique?”

He waits in his library, alone, drawing back curtains on memories of love so many years lost. Reports of dead men, bloodless, all eerily similar, tell Vincent the tale. Stalking in shadows, she seeks him.

Will she have him still?

Told first in Helen A Rosburg’s poem “Angelique,” the story of Angelique and Vincent’s undying love now comes to resplendent life in this novelette illustrated by Cherif Fortin and Lynn Sanders and offered in animated book format. With its beautiful prose and breathtaking images, this instant classic vampire story will haunt and delight readers for eternity.

Don’t miss this animated e-book loaded with multimedia features, including voice-over narration and commentary by author Helen A Rosburg. With ambient sights and sounds, such as lightning and thunder, this app will draw you into a whole new reading experience. This wonderful new release will be available soon at the iTunes App Store for only $4.99.

From vampires, we move to medieval guards. Award-winning author Traci E. Hall, who brought us the popular romantic Boadicea series (Love’s Magic, Beauty’s Curse, and Boadicea’s Legacy) delivers a whole new intriguing cast of characters in the historical romance The Queen’s Guard: Violet.

In the year 1147, Queen Eleanor and King Louis traverse to Jerusalem for the Second Crusade. Along with her fancy bedding and wine, the wily young queen brings five lovely and talented women: her spies.

Among them is the beautiful widow Isabella de Lacey, whose duty is to infiltrate Emperor Manuel’s inner circle and skillfully extract information. Will he aid the queen’s cousin or betray the alliance for one with the Turks?

To find out, Isabella must woo the emperor’s man, Raoul, whose soul is as black as his eyes and whose passion both terrifies and captivates her.

Reviews for The Queen’s Guard are already pouring in!

“Traci E. Hall’s The Queen’s Guard: Violet has all the elements that make for a fantastic and sexy historical read. As always, Ms. Hall manages to beautifully convey real characters—and the human emotion that rules us through all time. I love her work!”

~ Heather Graham, New York Times best-selling author of Bride of the Night

“An exciting blend of historical fiction and historical romance that sweeps the reader into the medieval world of court intrigue, hidden passions, and forbidden love, with a hero who’s emotionally torn by his past and struggling to trust and a heroine who’s willing to risk her life for her queen but who is never braver than when she risks her heart for the man she loves. Wonderfully researched, with details that bring the period vividly to life!”

~ Allison Chase, award-winning author of Recklessly Yours

“Traci Hall is a gifted storyteller who never fails to deliver that different kind of medieval romance. The Queen’s Guard is sure to delight all who read it.”

~ Linda Abel, The Medieval Chronicle

Look for the sequel in May of 2013, when Hall takes us on the journey of another one of Queen Eleanor’s guards in The Queen’s Guard: Lily.
