Back in April we announced that Medallion
would no longer be printing mass market paperbacks. Instead, we would
transition all of our mass market print books to e-books, while still
offering trade and hardcover books in print.

|
|
At the time,
we saw that e-book sales were growing rapidly, while mass market
sales continued to diminish. Five months later, we see the same
trend: e-book sales growing, mass market sales diminishing. It
was the right decision for us as we head into a brave new world,
and it seems to be the right decision for Dorchester Publishing
as well.

It’s
September, and things are not slowing down for Medallion Press!
We have a lot of exciting upcoming events, and we kicked them off
last month with a book tour featuring our very first nonfiction
title, The Road Through Wonderland: Surviving John
Holmes.

Author
Dawn Schiller started her tour at the end of August with signings
in Portland and Los Angeles.
Many came
out to talk to Dawn and hear about her inspiring story. You
can see some photos from her signings here.
Dawn’s local town newspaper also covered a story on her,
her story, and her book tour. You can read the full article here.
Not in the
Oregon or California areas? Then check out our author appearance
section to find out if Dawn will be in a city near you. Be sure
to watch for a special event, including a speaking engagement from
Dawn Schiller, at the Arcada Theater in Saint Charles, Illinois!
